Images: Soft Focus on Spring
Young leaves and flower buds
Good morning,
Photos - This morning, I went for a walk with my camera and as a challenge, I brought only the 85mm portrait lens. I kept it wide open at f1.4 the entire time and I looked for early morning spring things. The temperature was +34 F. A little dew, but no ice. Some of the results are below where we have at least three varieties of apple blossom buds, rose leaves, tamarac, something in the birch family, a lovely, but overly successful (aka invasive) in the mustard family, and chokecherry — all in spring development. Great time of year, but I like all the seasons.
Music - For music, check here https://canaaninstitute.org/mikesmusicblog/events/ You know I am excited about Hilary’s bluegrass quartet visiting us later this month, but there is plenty to keep us busy before that. Come visit me on a Wednesday night!
If you made it to here, I genuinely thank you for scrolling to the end. If you “like” and “share” my posts, that really helps me by increasing my readership. It is been great seeing all the “likes” (hearts) pop up. I appreciate and notice every single one. -Mike :)

Your photos are always a pleasure to view!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Down here in NC most things are fully leafed out. It’s a whole new planet for us northerners.
